At CrossFit Excel we believe that good Nutrition is the foundation and key to improving your overall Health and Fitness. We are not experts in the Nutrition field but what we do know and recommend has come from our own experience, our members and others in the CrossFit Community.

Our philosophy on Nutrition is simple; “Eat lean meats, vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar”. Avoid packaged food and high-glycemic foods like bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, candy and soda. Avoid protein from grain fed or caged animals injected with hormones, antibiotics, etc….in other words “Eat clean and wild when possible…If you can’t kill it or grow it, don’t eat it.”

Depending on your goals like reducing body fat, improving your athletic performance or just getting stronger we can recommend a path in Nutrition to help you obtain your goals.
